Insurance: CNY800/year

International students’ tuition fees paid by foreign currency shall subject to the actual amount of CNY credited into account. Overpaid tuition fees caused by exchange differences would be counted into next year’s tuition fees automatically, and there would be no refund before one finishes school.

Refund Policy

 1. RMB400 APPLICATION FEE IS NOT REFUNDABLE（A PART OF THE TUITION RMB1000 IS ALSO NOT REFUNDABLE BUT WILL BE KEPT TILL NEXT SEMESTER）

 2. IF THE SCHOOL HAS ALREADY RENEWED THE VISA FOR THE STUDENT WHO WANTS TO LEAVE SCHOOL, IT IS A MUST FOR HIM/HER TO GO TO THE IMMIGRATION TO SHORTEN HIS/HER VISA BEFORE GETTING THE REFUND.

 3. Refund Regulations:

• Registration and application fees are non-refundable;

• Insurance fee is non-refundable;

• The tuition fee will not be returned to those students who drop out of or quit school for no reason or expelled by school;

• Students who apply for suspension for some personal reasons, the tuition will not have their fees returned during this period. But it can be processed when the student comes back to school.

• For students who pay the tuition fee through domestic or overseas remittance, if the remittance is more than the tuition, the exceeding part will be counted as part of the tuition fee next year. According to the regulation of university Finance Department, the school will not do refunding for extra tuition payment of students caused by remittance or exchange rate, and the exceeding part will be entirely refunded to students on the occasion of graduation.

• Once the permission for quitting or school transferring is approved, the credit of completed courses should be cleared according to the rules. The payable tuition of professional and uncompleted courses should be calculated according to the actual learning time by month(less than 30 days is considered as 1 month, and 1 school year contains 10 months).

• Students who apply for refunding should first apply for transfer or quit in accordance with ZJUT regulations to fill the form of “Application of Transferring out of ZJUT” or “Application of withdrawal from ZJUT”, and clarify the reason for transferring or quitting. Then, the student should get the permission of academic college, International College and Dean’s Office of the university, and go to the Student Service Office (JianB 503) of International College to cancel or change visa (please provide the same basic material as was required or the application or renewal of visa). Finally, the procedures of refunding can be started when all are finished.

• The refunded money is paid in the Chinese currency.

• There will be no refund one month after the first day of school for language program students.

Chinese Government Scholarship

To promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities.

China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as MOE), is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs.

Now, 289 designated Chinese universities offer a wide variety of academic programs in science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, economics, legal studies, management, education, history, literature, philosophy, and fine arts for scholarship recipients at all levels.

Confucius Scholarship

In order to support the development of Confucius Institutes, promote the international promotion of Chinese language and the spread of Chinese culture, and train qualified Chinese language teachers and talents, the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban has established Confucius Institute scholarships to sponsor foreign students, scholars and Chinese language teachers to study in relevant Chinese universities.

Zhejiang University of Technology Scholarship

To encourage more excellent international students to study in Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology International Students Scholarship (ZJUT IS Scholarship for short）is established. Usually, you can get a scholarship if you meet the following basic requirements：

• Committed to Chinese laws, regulations and rules of our school;

• Well conducted with no illegal or criminal record;

• Study hard with high scores;

• Have completed registration and been accepted by our school

Of course, you will be disqualified if any of the following behavior is found on you

• The application materials are fake;

• Failing to pay the tuition in time according to our regulations;

• Failing to register within schedule time;

• Violating school rules and Chinese laws during studying period.
