Zhejiang University of Technology Scholarship

To encourage more excellent international students to study in Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang University of Technology Scholarship (ZJUT Scholarship for short）is established. Usually, you can get a scholarship if you meet the following basic requirements.

• Committed to Chinese laws, regulations and rules of our school;

• Well conducted with no illegal or criminal record;

• Study hard with high scores;

• Have completed registration and been accepted by our school

Of course, you will be disqualified if any of the following behavior is found on you

• The application materials are fake;

• Failing to pay the tuition in time according to our regulations;

• Failing to register within schedule time;

• Violating school rules and Chinese laws during studying period.

Eligible Programs： Bechelor and Master's Degree Programs with no restriction on the language of instruction

Application Procedure

1. Students need to Log into our official application website: https://zjut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx

   Please choose "Yes" when you see the question“whether to apply for a scholarship”at the page of application information:

   
   

2. After the application documents are verified, the application will automatically enter the scholarship evaluation process. The final result will be informed to the applicant through the Pre-admission Letter. 

3. If the applicant accepts the pre-admission offer and the scholarship category, a non-refundable application fee of RMB 400 must be paid as instructed and the payment proof uploaded to the application system to secure your seat.

4. The scholarship certificate will be uploaded to the application system; the original can be collected at registration.
   

【For Bachelor Programs】

1. After receiving the Admission Letter, scholarship recipients should pay the full tuition fee before registration, and then register on time with the admission letter/scholarship certificate/tuition fee receipt and other necessary materials;

2. After registration, Scholarship recipients should apply for a Chinese bank card immediately and send the bank card information to the email: ischolarship@zjut.edu.cn; 

3. The scholarship will be issued to the scholarship recipients' Chinese bank card.

【For Master&PhD Programs】

1. Scholarship recipients should register on time with the admission letter/scholarship certificate and other necessary materials;

2. After registration, Scholarship recipients should apply for the ICBC bank card and send the bank

   card information to the email: ischolarship@zjut.edu.cn; 

3. After receiving the ICBC bank card, scholarship recipients need to sign a bank withholding agreement, which authorizes the school to deduct the amount of tuition fee directly from the student's ICBC card after the scholarship is issued.

According to the International Student Administration regulations of Zhejiang University of Technology, if you are currently in China and need to apply for a visa before registration, no matter which program you register, you must pay one year of tuition in advance.

Types of ZJUT scholarship

• Excellence Scholarship:  Equal to 4 years tuition fee(Bachelor and Ph.D) or 3/2.5 years tuition fee(Master)

*Recipients of the Excellence Scholarship must pass an annual review to retain the award.

• Merit Scholarship: Equal to 1 year tuition fee

• Friendly Scholarship: Equal to 1 semester tuition fee

• Encouragement Scholarship: 3500RMB

【All ZJUT scholarship categories do not cover accommodation, living expenses, or insurance fees.】
