From November 14th to 20th Mr. Zhou Wenhua who is in charge of International students from Thailand and Ms. Zheng Haha from the Dean‘s office visited high schools in Thailand and attended the 31st  TIECA education exhibition of Bangkok. Because their visas couldn’t be processed until afternoon on November 14th, they ended up booking early morning air-tickets for 15th of November. They departed from Pudong airport at 02:30am and arrived at Chiengmai airport at 06:30am local time. On arrival there wasn’t enough time to rest hence they just had to drop their baggage and begin their work. During their tour in Thailand, our teachers visited local high schools giving vivid introductions of ZJUT. They visited two high schools in Chiang Mai, one in Khon Kaen, one in Hat Yai and lastly, one Boys high school in Bangkok. They later attended the 31st TIECA Education Exhibition of Bangkok on Nov.19th. Mr. Zhou visited an education consultancy agency which we once worked with before. The agency promised to recommend more Thai students in 2017 to study in ZJUT. Over one hundred Thai students applied to study in ZJUT during this tour marking very good progress. Our admission office together with the local institutions in Thailand will soon contact them to give them further consultation. This will ensure that there will be many Thai students studying in our University from next year onwards.
