The 12th International Animation Festival- Float Parade 转载自微信公众：StudyinZJUT             International Students from ZJUT Served as Volunteers in the 12th CICAFOn April 30, 6 a.m., 4 members from voluntary association of International College came to the school gate early and waited for our international volunteers.At 7:30 a.m., all volunteers took the school bus and finally arrived at the creative park in Zhongshan North Road. Then they made preparation for the performance-dressing-up, making- up and taking photos with tourists.Yanshi, a student who acted as a magician said that he enjoyed posing for a photograph. And, Nusenu who had fun with with kids said that she had formed deep friendship with children. After that, they started to rehearse,during which they tried their best to perform well. At 10:10, all the actors were full of confidence,just waited for the amazing time.      At10:30, the Rainbow Parade officially launched. This year marks the 90th anniversary since the first Chinese animation came into being.In September, the G20 Summit is to be held in Hangzhou. The Mascot of CICAF named “Lele” welcome to the 12th birthday at the meantime.Thus, the Rainbow Parade in this year was designed based on these topics. Hangzhou citizens and tourists could appreciate three unique chapters: “China Image”, “Cartoons Around the World”,  “Dreaming the Future”.In “China Image”, Chinese traditional iconic cartoon characters over the past 90 years appeared as the theme.“Cartoons Around the World” presented the audience lots of international elements. The March of international friends reflected the harmonious relationship between various countries, and redefined the cartoon carnival. “Dreaming the Future” ,featuring the West Lake, aims to reproduce the beauty of Hangzhou from all perspectives.     International students had excellent performance in the second chapter. Each of them showed their passion and kindness, which obtained the biggest applause in return.With fully joy and laughter,The Rainbow Parade drew to a successful close in West Lake Culture Plaza. Everyone was deeply impressed by our international students and all students returned back to school with wonderful memories.
