Teachers
fromInternationalCollegebriefed overseas
students on the origin and customs of Dragon Boat Festival and Mr. Zhang, the
executive head chef from the catering service center, explained and
demonstrated how to make Zongzi. Faced
with ingredients such as indocalamus, glutinous
rice, dates, chicken, salted egg yolk and so on, excitement and bewilderment
overwhelmed all the overseas students. Simple as it seems to roll the leaves,
wrap the rice and have all bound up, it is hard to master. As a result, Zongzis
which are flat or easy to let the rice go are here and there. It is until the

that it was his first time to experience traditional Chinese festival (Dragon
Boat Festival). Mike not only tasted Zongzis, but also made many Chinese
