Notice for Scholarship Application
一、为鼓励世界各国优秀学生来浙江工业大学学习，特设立“浙江工业大学来华留学生奖学金”（以下简称“浙工大留学生奖学金” ）。
为做好此项奖学金的评定工作，特制定本办法。 浙江工业大学来华留学生奖学金评审工作将本着“公正、公开、公平”的原则进行。
To attract more excellent international students to study in Zhejiang University of Technology, our university creates the
“Zhejiang University of Technology international students scholarship”. In order to work properly,
our university made regulations for trial implementation.
The evaluating work of ZJUT international students scholarship will be under three principles: “just, open, fair”.
二、在读优秀学历生奖学金奖励金额以及名额分配:

三、在读优秀学历生奖学金申请条件
The applied qualification for scholarship of the current excellent students
1、在学习期间，遵守中国法律和学校规章制度；
During the term, student promises to abide by the laws and regulations of China and regulations
of our university when he or she stays in the university;
2、学习认真努力，表现良好；
Hard working and in a good performance;
3、学历生奖学金按文科班、理科班相对应比例进行评比；
The scholarship will be allocated by the proportion of art and science classes;
4、上一学年所修总学分不低于28个学分,
如所得学分超出28个学分，则按此公式计算学习绩点：学习绩点=原始考试成绩绩点+[(所得学分-28）/28]
例：某生一学年修40个学分，原始考试成绩绩点为2.0,则最终学习绩点=2.0+(40-28)/28=2.43；
The credit points that earned from last term should not below 28,
For example, if the credit points exceed 28, the performance point (PP) will be calculated in this way
PP = original PP + (earned credit points - 28)/28
E.g. if one student earned 40 credit points, the original PP is 2.0, then the final PP = 2.0 + (40-28)/28 = 2.43;
5、所修必修课旷考或补考后仍不及格，则一门必修课扣0.1个绩点，两门必修课扣0.2个绩点，
超过两门必修课旷考或补考不及格，则取消该生评优资格；
If one student cannot pass one compulsory class even after the second exam,
thus this student will lose 0.1 PP in that compulsory class. If there are two compulsory classes,
then lose 0.2 PP, if the student fails to pass more than two compulsory class,
then he or she fails to qualified in the apply;
6、从2012-2013学年奖学金评比开始，如其他有突出表现和对学校或学院有所贡献的可适当加活动绩点，
具体活动绩点加分标准如下：
（1）代表学校或学院参加校外各类比赛活动的，根据表现及得奖情况加0.05-0.1个绩点；
（2）代表留学生参加学校或学院内部各类比赛及活动的，根据表现及得奖情况加0.01-0.05个绩点；
（3）在学校或学院学生会担任职务，根据履行职务的情况加0.02-0.1个绩点。
（4）活动绩点可累加，但一学年各类活动最高累计0.3个绩点。
上学年总绩点=原始考试成绩绩点+[(所得学分-28）/28]+活动绩点；
From 2012-2013, if student has the outstanding performance or has some contributions to the college or university,
he or she can gain some extra active PP.
This method will follow these standards:
(1) Represent the university or the college to attend the matches that not in the university,
can gain the PP around 0.05-0.1, according to the real situation;
(2) Represent the foreign students to attend the matches that in the university can gain the PP around 0.01-0.05; (3) Have the position in the student union in university or college, can gain the PP around 0.02-0.1;
(4) The active PP can be accumulated, but not beyond 0.3.
The final PP of last academic year = original PP + (earned credit points -28)/28 + active PP;
7、未获得中国政府其他各类奖学金；
Never gain the Chinese Government Scholarship.
8、应届毕业生不参加最后一学年奖学金评比；
The new graduates cannot attend in the last year’s scholarship.
9、有其他突出表现者可适当降低要求。
Any other outstanding performance can lower the standard.
四、在读优秀学历生奖学金申请办法
The methods of applying the scholarship of the current excellent students.
1、在读优秀学历生奖学金申请时间为每年10月8日至10月20日。
符合本条例第九条各款要求的学生在规定时间内向浙江工业大学国际学院（屏峰校区健B503MrYang）提出申请，
过期或不申请者将被视作放弃奖学金申请权利。
The applied time is between OCT 8st and OCT 20th. The students, who qualified to the ninth clause,
submit the applied form to the International College（PingFeng Campus JianB 503 Mr Yang）in the stated time.
If anyone does not obey the rules above,
they will be regarded as give up their applied chance.
2、申请材料包括：上一学年成绩单（需由所在学院及学校教务处盖章确认）、
在读研究生需要专业导师推荐，以及其它相关获奖证明和辅助材料。
The applied material: includes the school report of last term (should be confirmed by the teacher and the college),
and the recommendation form tutor,and other materials necessary.
3、申请表格可从www.gjxy.zjut.edu.cn网站下载
或直接向浙江工业大学国际学院索取。
The applied form can be downloaded from www.gjxy.zjut.edu.cn,
or just require one directly from the International college.
4、浙江工业大学国际学院按照本条例的有关规定接受申请，
由学校来华留学生奖学金评审委员会决定是否授予奖学金；学校将于每年10月底公布获得奖学金学生名单。
International college in ZJUTwill accept the form with the related regulation.
The university international student scholarship committee will decide the final result;
the university will announce the result in the end of October.
五、学校成立来华留学生奖学金评审委员会，委员会由相关的学校领导和国际交
流与合作处、国际学院、教务处、学生处、研究生院、财务处、国际交流中心、
各相关学院等相关部门负责人，以及各相关专业专家教授组成。
The university set up the international students scholarship committee.
The committee includes some university leaders, international exchange center,
the major colleges, academic department, student department, postgraduate department,
financial department and international exchange center, and some professors.
六、浙江工业大学国际学院对申请者的资格、申请条件进行认定后，
将符合申请 条件的申请者名单和材料报学校国际交流与合作处，
由国际交流与合作处提请来华留学生奖学金评审委员会审议。
After the applied condition confirmed,
the applied materials will be sent to the university International communication and cooperation department,
then the scholarship committee will censer the materials.
七、学校来华留学生奖学金评审委员会根据国际学院提供的申请材料进行审核，
必要时可通知学生前来面试，最终确定获得奖学金学生名单。
